Mrs. Jones, I just wanted totell you how sorry I am for the loss of your loving husband. I was fortunate to be able to tell him goodbye when I checked on him in the hospital on Thursday ,while your daughter was there and you were on the phone with them. I'll keep you in my prayers and I'll see you when you come in for your hip surgery, if it is needed. I'm happy that I've gotten to know the two of you; it has been a pleasure for me. May God bless and comfort you now and forever. Sincerely, Kathy Sprouse

Paul was a great friend over the years. I loved his many visits, when he would just come by to see what was going on. He cared so much about Prairie Grove and always wanted to catch up on what was happening around town. He was my go to guy when I needed information about Prairie Grove's history and I'll miss his stories.

I use to get to come to the lumber yard with my Dad and Mr. and Mrs Jones were always so nice. It was just one of those early life's memories that I used to think this is the way a retailer was to do business. A great citizen of Prairie Grove. May God Bless. Robert Dennis

I have just learned today of Paul's passing. One of my first jobs while in high school was at the lumber yard keeping books for he and Connie when they were out of town. They were so kind and generous to me, and I learned very much from them. I will always remember working there, and never forget what a fine person Paul was.

We are sad to hear of Paul Jones's death. Paul was a fine man, a good citizen and business man who lived in the Prairie Grove community for most of his life. He was also a faithful member of Prairie Grove United Methodist Church. It was our privilege to get to know him later in his life after he and Mary Elizabeth were married. (Although I, Maxine, grew up in Prairie Grove.) We send sincere sympathy to Mary Elizabeth and his family.
