Tributes

What to say? Just good memories of Jackson when he, Anna, and Adam would come over to visit and hang out with Mallory. I will always remember those four going to Wal-Mart and purchasing items for the homeless shelter and them coming over and playing spoons with my family. We had a lot of fun with Jackson, and we are going to miss him!! Our prayers are with the Whitley family.

I am so sorry Mia, for you and your entire family. We do not know God's plan, for any of us. I struggle with liking God's plans sometimes. I don't think He expects us to like it, always, but we do have to accept it. Jackson was always laughing and joking with me every time I went into the store. You couldn't leave without a smile on your face if you had talked with him. That was one of probably many gifts he shared. Praying for comfort for you and yours.
Vickie Peoples - Co-Worker
I want to let your family know that you are in my prayers. I did not have Jackson in class, but definitely saw him in the hallway between classes. He was always a happy young man and would always be joking with everyone around him. I know that his life was short, but God needed him in Heaven already.
Debbie Matney - Teacher At Prairie Grove High School

Tears are flowing (and smiles) as Mark and I are watching this precious video for a second time. I see a little boy who knew he was loved. I see parents that did an awesome job raising their family and loving on their children. I imagine the times they prayed with and for their children. And knowing you, Meg, and what you have told me about your extended family, I wonder just how many hundreds of prayers have been prayed for Jackson over his way-too-short lifespan? I'm sure he felt them. I'm sure they had an impact on his life. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Luvs, Tracy

SEE By Steven Curtis Chapman Right now all I can taste are bitter tears And right now all I can SEE are clouds of sorrow From the other side of this pain Is that you I hear? The only words of comfort I can give is to assure you of our Savior's love, that He is holding you all close to His heart, and that many many people are praying for you. May God remind you each step you take over the next day and weeks that Jackson and all of you are precious in his sight. With love and sympathy, Gary and Donna Thompson

I met Jackson about 3 weeks ago when he came out to ride 4 wheelers with my daughter. I told my daughter that he was the sweetest young man that I have ever met and that he was always welcome in our home, I invited him to come back soon and he said he would love to, I wish that day would have come. My heart is breaking for your family. He will be missed

My heart and prayers go out to all of you. Jackson was such an inspiration to my son, Trevor Haskell. When I first was introduced to your son I knew instantly he was one of the stars placed on this planet to shine on many. I pray for God to comfort you and get you all through this as we all know that Jackson is in a better place. Hugs to you all and know I will continue to pray for peace within.
Marsha Swanhorst - Mom Of Trevor Haskell
Mia, I never fully understood a mother's love until I had my son three years ago. My heart aches for you, and I pray that my son becomes a faith-filled man like Jackson. I haven't been in touch with Megan in years, but I carry a special place in my heart for the Roy family for teaching me what it means to have a personal relationship with God. I know that Jackson is still doing God's work. I never met him but feel called to honor his life by living Phil 2:3 more fully. That's a message I plan to keep alive in his memory.
Connie Cayse Horan - High School Classmate Of Megan's

Bill has known Bob, Jackson's Grandfather, for 65+years. We have known Bob and Faith as a couple for 50 years. We can't think of anything worse than losing one of our grandchidren. We know how much Jackson was loved by them and they spoke of him often. We feel deprived that we never met him, but his memory will always be in our hearts. God has added another angel to his fold.
Bill And Elizabeth Burke - Friends Of Grandparents
I had forgotten the dignified Family portrait with the TEETH. How appropriate that Phillipians 2:3 is on Jackson's arm. i just looked it up. Jesus, be near to you all. He is our Only Hope of survival. And as human beings, we still struggle WITH Him. I do know. Sending Love Eternal. Aleeeeshur
