James L. Abshier

62, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away November 3, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born December 6, 1946 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the son of Dowe Leach and Francis Lucille Keck Abshier.

James Owned and Operated Fab Plate in Prairie Grove since 1976, he also served in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother in law, Ernest and Jenna Whinery.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Whinery Abshier of the home; two sons, Jason Abshier of Lowell, Arkansas and Rodney Abshier and his wife, Tracy of Springdale, Arkansas; two brothers, Bobby Joe Abshier of Lincoln, Arkansas and Donald L Abshier of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister, Debbie Kay Yeager of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Jacque and Joseph Abshier, two nieces and a host of family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
