She has lived in: Tehachapi, CA; Morrow and Lincoln, AR; Knob Noster, MO; and Delta, CO; she has made friends and memories in each of these locations along the way. Her greatest joys late in life were her two loving grandchildren Kale and Hailey Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Gors and her mother Deanna Gors.
She is survived by her 30 year old son David Reed and wife Ting Jiang of Houston, TX and her 27 year old daughter Sarah (Reed) Phillips and husband Kris Phillips of Lincoln, AR; her 2 year old grandson Kale Phillips and her 1 month old granddaughter Hailey Phillips. She is survived by her older sister Charlotte Lougee of Fayetteville, AR and her younger sister Barbra and Jeff Bowen of West Fork, AR as-well-as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Lastly, she is survived by her honorary third “child” Dozer – her loyal and loving Yorkie.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 30, 2013 - 3:30pm at the Frank Holman Lincoln Auditorium 201 East School St. Lincoln, AR 72744.

The number of lives that she has touched is countless. Because of her loving heart and bright personality, Janet will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Janet’s generosity and unmatched sense of humor brought joy to all those around her. The children she left behind, whom she loved fiercely, will miss her the most. Barbara, I want you to know how nice and welcoming Janet was to Tara and myself when we moved back to Lincoln. She really enjoyed her secretarial vocation at Lincoln Elementary School. When she needed a substitute, she always received a "yes" from me. Such a wonderful person to remember with fondness.

I know without reading any of the other comments that people are saying that Janet was always happy and friendly. When she moved to Lincoln, our already good basketball team, became great, our class got a lot smarter and later, our school got the devotion from someone who truly cared about the kids and teachers. Janet, you will be missed for many many years to come.
