Tributes

Dear Linda, I'm so sorry for what you and your family have been through, but more so for what Jeannie went through. I've often said that I can't wait to get to heaven and ask God about cancer. Someday I hope to understand why our loved ones have suffered so. You take care, hug your kids and your family, and just soak up this time together. We'll see you when you get back. Sincerely, Samantha and Family

To Jeannie's family. I have not seen Jeannie in a long time but she will always be the cute, full of spirit little blonde sister that wanted to go everthing place we went. She always had a smile and was meaner than a snake. That part has kept her going for so many years. She will be missed. My prayers are with you now. Memories of the old days running around the neighborhood with Jeannie following along with us will always be with me. Love you all, Jamia

Favorite memory - Jeanne and I burning up the roads the summer of '70 when gas was $ .25 a gallon. We would literally scrape up 100 pennies, buy 4 gallons of gas and go all night! We had a ball that summer.

She fought a long hard battle, we know she is now free from pain. We remember her as a little blonde running behind her big sisters, one of the first memories of moving to Springdale. We share but can't know your pain of losing Jeannie, and pray that wonderful memories will help you find peace. We love you all. hugs and God Bless.

Jeannie Marie - one of a kind. A true friend during my childhood, she held my secrets close, she loved me when others didn't, she held me when others wouldn't, she laughed with me, and cherished me just as I cherish the memories of her. One of a kind- heaven is a brighter place with her in it, as my memories fade, my love of my friend Jeannie will remain strong and constant as the stars in the sky. Thank you for sharing her and your home with me all those years ago..I love you all.

Jeanne and I were BEST FRIENDS for a long time. We would walk home from Central Jr.High every day, and for those of you who remember the walk down Huntsville, it had "the bread and butter tree", and the "magical tree, etc". I will never forget Jeanne's laugh and friendship. I am so sorry for you loss.

So very sorry to hear about Jeannie. The lovely picture of her was a welcomed replacement of the picture I had in my memory of us in those awful blue PE suits. I wish you comfort in your own special memories.
