I met John while delivering his Lincoln Planning Commission Packets. Everytime I stopped by his home, he liked to visit for a while before I left. While I didn't know him very well, it wasn't that difficult to tell that he was a really good man. My prayers are with his family.

John has been a long time client with his beloved pets, but even more so, a friend. We would often visit after an appointment about the navy as my dad was also a navy veteran. We would also visit about health, bulls, jobs and what to do about the abandoned and neglected pets. John (and Shirley) really love animals. I hope they will help comfort Shirley as much as John and Shirley have offered care and comfort to all the 4 legged friends in the area. I will miss our visits and the community will miss John's input and service. My deepest condolances to Shirley and the family.

John was a dear friend to my dad, Jug, and one of the first and most colorful people I met in the chicken business. Always had a joke for you. And mostly they were funny! He and Shirley were a beautiful couple and great people. I'm glad we knew him.
