Johnnie Hayden Patterson

Johnnie Hayden Patterson, age 62, passed away peacefully in Arkansas on October 12, 2025. Born November 5, 1962, in Springdale, Arkansas, Johnnie lived a life marked by unwavering dedication to his country and deep devotion to his family.

Johnnie proudly served in the United States Air Force for 25 years, from October 17,1985 until his retirement on April 15, 2010. His commitment to military service was not just a career but a calling – one he embraced with honor and pride. Johnnie often said he would still be serving if they would let him. His enduring patriotism and steadfast loyalty left a lasting impression on all those who knew him.

Johnnie is lovingly remembered by his wife Angela Fitchue-Patterson and her family, his sons Tristen Patterson and wife Brandi, Hayden Patterson, his daughters Dr. Shannon Wegner Ph.D., SarahJae Johnston, his grandchildren Morgan Tiner, SSgt Gage Hibner, Katy Alcos, Jeremy Johnston, his great-grandchildren Penny Hibner, Oliver Alcos, and his brother Robert (Bobby) Chrisman and wife Becky and their daughters.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his mother “Lolly Lorene” (Robinson) Chrisman, step father Richard Chrisman, sister Patty Butler, step sister Tanja Everitt and his step brother Rick Chrisman.

Johnnie’s legacy is one of service, strength and love for his country, his family and the values he held dear. We salute Johnnie for his dedication and the example he set through word and deed.
