He went to work for Central EMS in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and worked his way up the ranks from an EMT to his current title of Assistant Chief.

In his years of emergency services he has taught countless individuals emergency care not only as training officer at Central EMS but as a teacher at Northwest Arkansas Community College. Josh was known through out the county and state for his passion for emergency medical care. He will be remembered as one of the most self giving people in this field.

While Josh was committed to his passion of service in emergency services, he was equally committed to his family in his role as husband and father. His love for his family was evident to all that knew him.

Tributes

Josh will always be remembered by me. He was the most compassionate and driven man I have ever known in the EMS field. I have never met anyone who didn't like Josh. Hundreds of EMTs are out there saving lives because Josh cared enough to teach and mentor them. I love Josh so much and miss him terribly. Josh I will see you soon!
