Obituary

Keaton Bruce Coyle

Age 27, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away September 27, 2016 in Prairie Grove. He was born October 7, 1988 in Fayetteville, the son of Jerry Coyle and Mona Burkhart Coyle.

Keaton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove.

In his early years, he loved the road trips to Colorado to see Grandma and Grandpa Coyle. His face would light up when he talked about them and was around them....we think Keaton invented the saying...Are we there yet?

Keaton graduated from Prairie Grove High School in 2007 and was a Captain on the High School Football Team. He also was an outstanding catcher on the High School Baseball Team. Teams would try to steal on him......but ONLY once. He wouldn’t even cut his little sister any slack either....he would fire a baseball at Kendra just like he wold with any of his teammates and she always caught it.....never to disappoint her big brother. Keaton and Kendra had a special bond and she was always on his coattail.

After graduating, he started working in the construction business. He took pride in his word and seeing his accomplishments of what he created.

Keaton’s true love was hanging out with his friends and family. He had an infectious personality and a smile that would light up a room and brought a lot of joy to everyone who knew him.

Keaton was easy going and loved being outdoors...He loved going to concerts, laying in his hammock looking at the stars, and watching the lightning across the sky but anyone that knew him, knows he was also very competitive. Weather playing a game of disc golf, pool, chess, golfing or just beating his Grandma and Grandpa Coyle in a good game of cards.

He loved to travel. From skiing in Colorado or seeing the coast of California with his good friend Cara to working in Guatemala at an orphanage.

He didn’t want anything more than to make people happy and smile. His Instagram page states “Jack of all trades, Ace of none”

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Raymond Burkhart and Naomi Sisco and his uncle Billy Burkhart.

Survivors include his father Jerry Coyle and wife Pam of Prairie Grove; his mother Mona Coyle also of Prairie Grove; his sister Kendra Coyle of Prairie Grove; two brothers Jason Coyle and Modesty Billy of Prairie Grove and Jeremy Coyle and wife Cara of Tontitown; his paternal grandparents Bruce and Patsy Coyle of Prairie Grove; nieces Lisa and Tana Coyle and their mother Alma Blecher, nieces Jade and Sadie and nephew River and their mother Sara Coyle.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.

We are so sorry to hear of this. We remember Keaton and Brad playing baseball together. We still have a picture of them before a game holding a turtle they found. You are in our prayers.

Hearing of Keaton's passing is heartbreaking. Praying for the family during this time. I have a picture of is at our senior breakfast in 2007. He was always smiling, and that smile was infectious. Such a fun-loving, incredible young man. He will be sorely missed and the Class of 2007 will have a piece of it missing.
Whitney Casey - Friend/Classmate
Words cannot express the sorrow of the loss of a child. Our prayer and compassion are with the family during this trying time.
Greg Reed - Family friend
I lack the words to adequately describe what Keaton meant to us. He was more than our friend, he was family. We welcomed him into our home several times a week where he would conveniently show up at dinner time and clocked more couch time than anyone else we know. It breaks my heart that I will forever have to speak of him in the past tense when he's played such a big part in our lives. I wish we could have had more time with him.

On the night of Sept 27th, I was going home from Red Gate and just got into Prairie Grove around 9:36 pm. My friend and I quickly realized what had happened and immediately took action to try and help. I've thought about that night and why I was in that exact place at that exact moment, and have thought of Keaton and his family every day since then. I'll never forget that night and my heart breaks for and goes out to his family, especially his sister. We aren't supposed to know the reason things happen the way they do, but there is a reason for things, and, even in death, Keaton has touched and changed my life. His memory will love on in the hearts of those who cared for him.

My heartfelt sympathy to Keaton's family and friends. To lose someone with so much left to share with the world is terribly difficult. May all of you find comfort in your wonderful memories, as well as God's promise of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life." (John 11:25,26) These words give us hope for the future, knowing that through Jesus Christ we have the sure hope of being reunited with our loved ones again, happy and healthy. (John 5:21,28,29)
