Kevin Shane Lovejoy

Bennett, Linda, Bobby and Michael! I'm so sorry to hear about Kevin. As you all know I watched him grow up while hanging out with Bobby. You couldn't wipe the smile off his face. He will be truly missed. We will keep you all in our prayers!

Kevin will be missed. He was always very polite and quiet on the bus, and loved to talk to me when he had the chance. He was always smiling.

Kevin was a kind-hearted man and he will truly be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of the world losing such a kind hearted man! I have been & will continue to pray for each of you dealing with the loss of Kevin. My heart goes out to the family! I will miss his smile & his dimples!

I am so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. I know it has been a long time since I have seen him but I do remember him when he was small. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.

I don't have the words.... I'll be praying for uncle Bennett, Aunt Lynda, Bobby Wayne, Michael, and especially Nikki... Kevin was definitely a unique guy, and there are so many memories from my childhood that he was a part of. From playing with He-Man when Darrin and I used to stay the night, to the bloody bleacher incident at the football game, and of course those big ole dimples.... Regardless of the tough persona he put out there, those who knew him, knew that he was really just a big teddy bear, wrapped in a grizzly bears body! You will be missed...

I haven't seen Kevin in a few years but when we were younger we were close. I remember him teasing me that we should get married when we grew up so that I wouldn't have to change my last name! He always had a smile on his face. He has always been such a clown, rotten as could be but lovable nonetheless. I think those big old dimples had a lot to do with it! I never thought I would ever see the day when he wasn't around. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I know he was loved by so many. My prayers to all of you, and though understanding may never come, the Lord knows best. I love you all.

Kevin was always so very kind and was one to always take time to stop and say hello when you saw him. He is missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

My light and my life provided me hope for a future, a reason to live and the strength to exist. Suddenly extinguished, taken away without warning. I was abandoned, left in the darkness trying to survive searching for any glimmer on the distant horizon. I stand precariously on a piece of solid ground barely large enough for my feet. Around me, a vast expanse of desolation and emptiness for as far as I can tell. It waits with extending arms to engulf and surround me in a permanent shadow. I remain tenuously balanced on this small bit of solid footing Providing me the last vestiges of hope, Unsure where to turn or how to find an escape. No path in sight, it has decayed into the abyss. No light to guide my footsteps, it has been withdrawn. In complete blackness I close my eyes waiting to fall. A light appears before me no, from within me. I discover a brilliance inside An internal source of strength, power and illumination. This force surges through my body filling me with courage. I open my eyes once more in the darkness finally lose my balance, and descend into the eternal night. But in falling, I discover that I possess wings. With new courage, my own light, and wings to save me from the everlasting darkness I take flight high above the waiting chasm towards a faint glimmer far on the horizon and hope.

Kevin had a heart of gold and will be missed by all. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. All our love!

Kevin was such a wonderful guy! He was always sweet and his smile could melt hearts. He is a great loss to this world.

Nicki found this poem just the other day. I had this during the lose of Heather and thought I should share. We never understand why I just feel like she brought it to me to share. He Only Takes The Best God watched you as you suffered, and knew you had your share. He gently closed your weary eyes and took you in his care. Your memory is our keepsake, with that we will never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts. Nothing could be more beautiful than the memories we have of you. To us you were someone special. God must have thought so too. All our lives we shall miss you, as the years come and go, but in our hearts you will live forever. Because we love you so. God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me" With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and fade away. Although we loved you dearly, you were not meant to stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard- working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best!

Kevin has been to our house many times and he was smiling. Him and our boys had a lot of good times together. He will be missed by many. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I like most of our class and the surrounding communities were saddend by the loss of kevin i kept up with him on facebook i saw him couple of years ago i have lots of memories of him during football my prayers are with u
