Lee Roy Allsup
79 a resident of Prairie Grove passed away January 4, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born September 22, 1934 in Rheas Mill, Arkansas, the son of Everett and Mildred Cheatham Allsup.
Lee Roy retired from the United States Navy, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal with bronze star, bronze star for good conduct medal. He was a member of the ships company of USS Salisbury Sound and a chief petty officer E8 in the Navy.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Allsup; one son, Roy Allsup of Prairie Grove; one sister, Dorothy Chesser of Oklahoma; three grandchildren Robby, Dana and Dusty; three great grandchildren, Kailea, Adalyn and Ella.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel with burial in Rhea Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Robby Allsup, Dusty Allsup, Jeremy Myers, Thomas Henderson, Robert Hyler and George Hyler
