Tributes

Bunny taught me so much, and helped make me the person I am today. She always understood much more than what I was able to tell her about things, and she loved me in spite of my flaws and failures. She loved my Uncle Gene very much, and they learned from each other. They were best friends, and an example to me of how to meet challenges head on and get through them. Rest in peace my beautiful lady, and I will see you on the other side!

To know Bunny was to love her. I still stand in awe of her many abilities and her great humility. She was unfailingly kind, generous, hard working, and always thought first of those around her, even in her final days. The great care and affection I witnessed from her family, friends, and neighbors are a testament to what a truly amazing woman she was. I will miss Bunny, but I know she is now striding through greener pastures in a glorified body that will never tire. My prayers go out to all of you who are grieving her loss in your life. May you be comforted.

I just have learned of Bunnies passing at Christmas as I received a Christmas card receiving the news. Bunny worked at our little craft store for several years near the Radio Shack on College Ave. in Fayetteville AR. She was a very kind upbet person. She loved all her family and was always speaking of her love of animals. She especially loved her little white mule that a friend passing left her. One day I was very sad about not knowing much about anything except working at the business. She said to me "try anything in your heart you want to do to have fun in life". I did. She told me that she learned to dance by going to the bar, and asking others to teach her to dance because she wanted to learn. She was good at anything she touched. She canned, knitted, worked on her car, sherred a lama, she was a jack of all trades she tried in life. She was an amazing person. I got the nerve to learn ballroom dancing, and took it for over 3 years with my husband. She named all her cows, except she would call them hamburger if she was going to eat them. I will miss her in life as she was such an inspiration in my life-keep going no matter what. And don't be afraid to learn new things on the way in life. She was quite a lady to know. Great to have known you Bunny in life. Avis Ruge (Vaughn) formerly of the Craft World in Fayetteville AR.
