Born on January 21, 1943, in Jackson, Tennessee. She grew up with a keen sense of adventure and a passion for helping others, which shaped the remarkable woman she became. Linda graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in education and dedicated over 30 years to teaching, inspiring countless students with her enthusiasm and kindness.
Linda was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, which she was proud to be a member. She also loved being a member of her university sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. She was fond of her sorority sisters.
Linda married in 1965. She helped build a life with love, laughter, and enduring memories. Linda was a devoted mother to her three children and a proud grandmother of six adored grandchildren.
Linda will be remembered for her radiant smile, her love of family, and her passion for tracing her past, which she shared generously with family, friends, and neighbors. She was deeply involved in her community and a member of Cane Hill Presbyterian church where her warmth and compassion touched many.
Linda is survived by; her children and their spouses; her grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on January 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cane Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Parkinson’s Society, the Michael J Fox Foundation, or a charity of your choice in Linda’s memory.
Linda’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
