Obituary
Linda Niccum Lemser was born Sept. 22, 1952 in Springfield, MO to Lawrence and Irene Niccum.
She spent most of her early years through high-school in the Prairie Grove Community where she went on to start a family and live a generous love filled life. Linda's true treasures were her grandchildren Aven, son of her daughter and Ivy, daughter of her son.
In addition to her family life, Linda spent her remaining 22 years employed at Washington Regional Hospital where she helped register people who needed emergency room care. You may have been one of those people. Her co-workers often marveled at how many people came in to be greeted by a familiar face and comforted by her presence because of her many years connected to the community.
Linda is survived by a son, Rance Vinson and a daughter and best friend, Amber Lemser. Linda had a brother, Cody Niccum, who has passed on, and a sister Cynthia Speakman, a sister Marcia Green, and a sister Lydia McConnell who survive her. She absolutely treasured her many nieces and nephews who were there when she needed them, as she was for them.
Linda put family first. She was one of those wives and Mothers who was up early getting things done so others could have a good day, often driving to work in inclement weather, and "getting the job done" , just to start another day. She enjoyed simple things such as family holidays, growing her own flowers and tomatoes, and always doing for her kids and grandkids. Linda was a wife and Mother who gave more than she got, and did it because she wanted to. Her life's impact continues through her children and grandchildren Ivy and Aven. Her spirit will always live in her family and friends and she he is already deeply missed.
