Tributes

Lowell,
I was thinking of you today, remembering that your birthday was coming up (today is March 15, 2022). So sad to learn of your premature passing. I wish I had made a better effort to stay in touch with you over the years...last saw you in Los Angeles in 1988.
I appreciate the generosity you showed me when we were kids. My brother and I spent many summer days swimming in your pool. You were a fish in the water!
You were so mechanically gifted and super curious about how things worked. It rubbed off on me. Thank you. In 5th grade, I helped you build a boat in your backyard using 2x4s, bed sheets, verethan, and a Briggs & Statton 5hp motor. It floated but didn't go too fast! You also helped me rebuild the engine in my 1960 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite in the Summer of '78. You taught me so much and left a strong and lasting impression on me.
If your family want to learn more about your childhood they are welcome to reach out to me.
