What a special woman Aunt Lucy was. I remember how tirelessly she worked for her family, how much she loved and cared for us all. I remember her giggling when her brothers tickled her or even just teased her for being ticklish. Heaven is blessed to have her, and she'll be sorely missed here.
Paula Schrank - Niece

We thank God for the life of Aunt Lucy. She was such a blessing to us, a model of faith, patience and perserverance. She gave much, and loved much and suffered much and complained little. She was a family heirloom. Through our tears, we rejoice that she is with God now and , we trust, reunited with the rest of our family there. We will miss her but thank our Father for the promise that we will all be together again. Heaven is brighter this week and we are poorer for our loss. We pray God's blessings on Kenneth, Velma, Forrest and their families that HE will send HIS special peace and comfort with the joys of memories and hope. And Aunt Lucy, save us a spot at the banquet table !

You are all in my prayers today. I remember my family visiting Aunt Lucy in Arkansas and Aunt Lucy making trips to Washington to see my grandma. She was such a joy to be around and she will certainly be missed! I am looking forward to seeing her in heaven!
Dawn Campbell - Great Aunt

She is at peace with no pain and with some of her loved ones. What joy she is having !!!!!!!!!!

In chapter 11 of Hebrews it gives a list of people by name who lived by faith. Aunt Lucy is certainly one to join that list. She was a great cook and I have several of recipes. She will live on as I prepare these dishes from time to time!
Coy & Ola Jones - Niece

I was sad to hear of Aunt Lucy's passing, but know she lived a long, good life. I sat with my Grandma Ruby many times while she and Aunt Lucy talked on the phone. Grandma Ruby truly looked forward to their phone visits. I have good memories of the times Aunt Lucy came to the northwest to visit. There is comfort in knowing that she is in Gloryland. teri card

My earliest memories of understanding who God is and what hope there is for the future are founded in the women of the Thomas family. We visited Great-Grandma Thomas and stayed with "Aunt" Lucy in my youth. I'm blessed to have had my wife and four boys meet her at the 2005 Thomas Reunion. Aside from learning from her example, I also learned her secret ingredient to making the best grilled cheese sandwiches. Aunt Lucy is and always will be a treasure in my heart and a blessing to my family.
Rob & Dawn Taylor - Lucy's Sister Velma's Grandson

I didn't get to see much of Aunt Lucy because of distance, but I remember visiting her when I was a kid and she came to visit CA once and we went to dinner together. The thing I remember most about her was her smile. She was always smiling. I remember her as a very happy woman. She will be missed. My condolences to everyone in the family. She lived a long good life and I look forward to seeing her in heaven. God bless you all. Katherine (Jones) Webster
