Margaret Blackburn

BLACKBURN, Margaret Gibson - Mrs. Margaret Gibson Blackburn
was born in Monroe Co., Tenn. June 20,1829. She professed religion about
1847 and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. She was married
to Robt. H. Blackburn March 6, 1851 by whom she had seven children,
three of whom died in early childhood. She moved with her husband to the
vicinity of Viney Grove, Ark. in 1869 where she died April 28, 1886. She
was attacked with Asthma twelve years ago and had suffered often and
intensely with it. She was taken down with a violent attack of it April 20
and until death released her, her sufferings knew almost no bounds. She
leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. A
