Tributes

My grandmother always gave me a sense of pride. Her character and demenor always gave me respect for her. Her family originating from Spain seems to have come full circle, in a sense, with Selene's family and I here in Mexico.

To the Family of Margaret T. Ireland: It was my great pleasure to be acquainted with Ms. Ireland and her husband, Melvin, because I dated and was very fond of their daughter, Mary Lynn (Tammy) Ireland Oliver, more than forty years ago. I also counted Margaret's son, Mel, as a very good friend with whom I shared many pleasant moments. Ms. Ireland was a charming and beautiful lady. I feel so fortunate to have known this family and to have had them as a part of my life. I express my sincere condolences to Barbara Ireland Stills and the rest of the family. Respectfully, Jimm Larry Hendren

I remmber Margaret in the 1940's, when she and Chuck lived in Jamestown, KS. They came to our house each day. I was in high school and we had many good times together. She was like a sister to my mother (Leota Ireland Falk).
