I thought a lot of Marjean. She & I worked together at Sterling Drug when she was very young. Also went to school with her sister, Lynett. I am really sorry for her family's loss at this sad, sad time. Marjean & I had a lot of fun together. She will be greatly missed. She is up in heaven smiling down on the rest of us.

Marjean was a wonderful person, had a friendly spirit and would do anything she could to help others. When my mother-in-law was very very ill one of the last people she asked by name to see was Marjean. I called and she was there in no time, my mother-in-law went to see Jesus seeing one of her favorite people before going. It is a true friend who would drop everything and go now. That was the kind of friend Marjean was. To her family I say, Celebrate her life, she accomplished so much in her lifetime. Know that she loved you all and that she will be waiting in heaven for the day of that great great reunion.

Leta Long - Longtime Friend

Marjean and her husband were working at my neighbor's house next door. They were taking down a tree, of course, and I was on a ladder painting the whole West side of our house. She made it a point to stop what she was doing and come over to tell me in person what a great job I was doing. It really made my day that she would do something like that, because no one else had ever done that before. I should have gotten to know her better.

I have only known Marjean for a short time, but it is her smile that I will most remember. Little did I know about the kindness that she spread to her community until just the other day. She has helped to make my transition to Farmington be such a special one. I really appreciated all of her kindness. Just the other day one of the students came up to me and told me how she always made sure that she put her gravy on the side because she knew that she didn't really like it. It seems small but most of the time lunch time goes so quickly that there is no time to really connect with the kids. Marjean took that time. She is going to be missed dearly by all of the staff and children at Folsom. She will especially be missed by the ladies that worked the closest with her. I will continue to pray for those who loved her. Stay strong and know that she continues to serve through her spirit. God Bless.
