Jay brought a ray of sunshine to our home each time he visited. He was extremely patriotic and loved his time in the AR Army National Guard. He proved that by volunteering to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is loved by us and will be sorely missed. R.I.P Jay, we all will join you soon.

The first time I met Jay is when I flew out to Arkansas to visit Tina and to go to the lake with them and their friends for the 4th of July weekend. I was so thrilled to see fireflies, and to take a picture of one... that's when everyone laughed and dubbed me "Cali". Many fond memories of that weekend, including the electric knife connected to a car battery. My second trip was just as much fun. That was their Halloween party. Jay strapped a board to his behind as Tina was Octomom. Thanks for all the laughs Jay.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. There are no words that express the sympathy I have for you. Jay was a fun-loving and all around great guy. His spirit will live on as he has touched many lives in his all too short time here on this earth.

Jay, we miss you. Our group get togethers are going to be missing a special piece. Kassidy says she loves "her" Uncle Bird, and she said she misses you too. I guess God must have big plans for you. I wish he would have let you stay around to see the twins arrive. I know you will be watching from above and smiling down, probably laughing at Shane for having 3 daughters. Until we meet again dear friend, we will be sharing non-stop memories of you. Love you Bird, Tina, Robby, Ashley, Mitchell and Journey. You are family to us. Love, Shane, Chrissy, Kassidy and the twins

I know he is proud of you for the young man you are now & the young man to be in the future. You will do great things in your life, but always remember that God is the only one who controls our lives! It is very hard to know why something like this happens, but He will help you through it !

Time is a strange thing. We never have as much of it as we think we do. Jay and I were inseperable in High School. As adults we went different directions, but he remains the best friend I have ever had. To the family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Jay had passion for everything but most of all his family. To the kids, know that he will never be too far away to hear you talk to him. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend.

My prayers and thoughts are with you. Jay spent a lot of time at our house during his high school years and was like another son. Jay and Ron were together almost constantly either at my house or his house and we loved every minute spent with him. He was a great young man and was called home way to soon. Rest in peace, Jay.
