Michael David Benton
57 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away September 8, 2010 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born June 18, 1953 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Ross Eugene and Vivian Earlene Day Benton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ross Eugene Benton.
Survivors include one son, Mike Benton and his wife, Angie of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one daughter, Tammy Marovich and her husband, Matt of West Fork, Arkansas; his mother Earlene Benton of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two brothers, Gary Ross Benton and Danny Benton both of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and one sister, Freddie Bernett of Farmington, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Candace, Whitney, Hannah, Samantha, Sara and Sidney.
Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas;

I was always impressed with how passionate Dr. Joe was with the Dr. museum. His stress on the values of commitment, & integrity always touched me also. I worked with him from the high school and was always unhappy that we could not incorporate the museum more in the science classes.
