Robert, Brenda, Michael and Mark. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know God's love will comfort you and remind you of such sweet memories of your mother. She was the most caring and giving lady I've ever know. Always giving of herself in God's grace. She will be greatly missed and always loved. Praying for all of you.

Norma was a wonderful friend who always did more than was expected of her. She made this world better for Jim and I and for all the others who knew and loved her.
We shall miss her precious smiling face. We pray that God comforts the family in a way that only he can.
Brenda & Jim Coleman - Good friends

Norma's son, Mark, worked at Social Security Admin for years. Norma and Robert came to our office every year and put on a big fish fry for us, complete with fish, hush puppies, home made pies and more. She also sent a huge tray of candy to the office every Christmas. She spoiled us, as she did her family, friends, and community. She was a lovely and generous lady who spread joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed.

Too many times, it seems, we’ve had to live on while our loved ones have gone to be with the One God of all creation. And even when we know this all has to happen, it has to take place to fulfill God’s necessities; to him, its like a wave moving onto the shores and then scuttling away again, but we, we still catch ourselves sitting and gazing off into time; I did anyway, this afternoon. I sat here humbled with some kind of horrid feeling that came over me. There are those who pass through life and we feel that breeze kick off when they do, it passes over us when we are nearby, but it only lasts for a few short seconds. Then there are those who roar like a master tempest who seem to pull the weight of the world along with them while they smash through every barrier to help deliver God’s blessings with his terrible overflowing, endless, holy spirit. Its there where I lost myself and found myself again, and God finally revealed to me my sorrow. Every family has those like this, the Master Tempest of God, who are the cornerstone, and foundation that God places here because he knew. He knew that we needed someone who could effect us and our families for generations to come. So passionate and so profound that in their passing they leave a hole in the Universe that we can feel forever. Nearly one year ago on May 21st 2013 my aunt, Norma Brockman, earned her way into the “Age of Light”, with our God on high so brilliant that darkness has no name. This world is dying, and will die without someone to replace those like her. Don’t look around you Brothers and Sisters…. BE THE TEMPEST!
