Orvil Lee Bentley
65, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away July 6, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born November 6, 1944 at Cedarville, Arkansas, the son of Alfred Sennett and Violet Viola Collins Bentley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Shawnda Michelle Bentley; two sisters, Nancy J. Reagan, and Mary E. Brasuell.
Orvil was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play jokes on his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Roylene Evans Bentley of the home; four sons, Stanford D. Anderson and wife Kimberly, Richard C. Bentley and wife Heather, Orvil L. Bentley and wife Tiffany , and Carroll Gene Bentley and wife Meghan all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; five grand children, Myranda M. Anderson, LaKaya C. Bentley, Kendrick D. Bentley, Madison N. Bentley, and Alyssa T. Bentley; six brothers, Charles B. Bentley of Cedarville, Arkansas, Melvin L. Bentley of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Alfred Jr. Bentley of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, George M.
Bentley of Cincinatti, Arkansas, William Bentley of Moffett, Oklahoma, and Wesley Beachamp of Colcord, Oklahoma; one sister, Ruby Crabteee of Cedarville, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 - 2:00 P.M. at the Beard’s Chapel in Fayetteville with Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
