Oscar James Shinn
84 a resident of Victoria, Mississippi, passed away July 10, 2011at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born August 16, 1926 in Friendship, Arkansas, the son of Clinton and Cortia Terry Shinn.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Wilson and one grandson, John Vinson.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jean Shinn; two sons, Gary J. Shinn of Victoria, Mississippi and Charles F. Hughes of Lincoln, Arkansas; one daughter, Diann Bearden of Elkins, Arkansas; one sister, Bonnie Walker of Conway, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, D'lisa Jean Banta, Brian Wilson, Jason Vinson, Stephanie Call, Stephen Hughes, Crystal Ryan, Rejeana Call, Brian Black and Jeff Black; fourteen great grandchildren, Ryder Banta, Sunny Vinson, Angel Vinson, Mirah Vinson, Jasmin Nicole Vinson, Whittney Vinson, Brittney Vinson, Karly Call, Vincent Call, Luke Call, Caden Charles Hughes, Landon Ryan, Kennedy Ryan, and Tiana Sky Archer.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Neil Jackson officiating.
Grave side service Friday, July 15, 2011 - 1:00 P.M. at Byhalia Cemetery in Byhalia, Mississippi
