Peggy Ann Swingle
67, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away July 3, 2010 at her home near Prairie Grove, Arkansas, She was born June 12, 1943 at Ordway, Colorado, the daughter of Ancel William and Inez Ethel Bottom Rogers.
Peggy retired after seventeen years with the Washington County Sheriff's office as a Sergeant in the Work Release Division. She was a certified Law Enforcement officer and graduate from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy.
Survivors include her husband Myrle Swingle of the home; five sons, Rudy and Danny Swingle both of Sterling, Colorado, Larry Swingle of Canton, Georgia, Robert Swingle of Chiefland, Florida, and Martin Swingle of Sterling, Colorado; one daughter, Linda Roper of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; four brothers, Duane Rogers of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jerry Rogers of Phoenix, Arizona, Allen Rogers of Pleasanton, California, and Gary Rogers of Boston, Massachusetts; one sister, Dorothy Randal of Portland, Oregon; twenty grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at the National Cemetery Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Cancer Resources 5835 W. Sunset - Springdale, AR 72762.
