Rachel Marie Reed
72 a resident of Springdale, passed away March 3, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born October 31, 1942 in Iowa, the daughter of Ethmer Clem and Mary Avis Brown Tomlinson.
Rachel married Connie Reed on May 26, 1963 at the United Methodist Church in Springdale. She started working at Mary’s Natural Foods in 1971 and later became the owner/operator.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Connie Reed; two sons Shawn Reed and wife Dawn of Fayetteville and Eric Reed and wife Jean of Brock, Texas; two sisters Rebecca Sutherlan of Siloam Springs and Mary Ruth Tomlinson of Haskell, Oklahoma; two grandchildren Hanna Reed and Jackson Reed.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
