Obituary
Reynalda “Reyna” Lachica Tounzen, 85, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas passed away on July 15, 2025, at the Circle of Life Hospice home in Springdale, AR. She was born on September 10, 1939, in Galeana, Guadalupe y Calvo, Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Jesus Manuel Lachica Sarmiento and Maria A. Peña Pérez.
Reyna loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was always willing to offer her time and talents to those in need. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and gardener among other things. Reyna loved the outdoors and her farm. You could always find her working in her vegetable and flower gardens and tending to her cows and chickens. She owned Casita Lachica Mexican restaurant in Lincoln where she was the sole operator, cook and waitress and lovingly prepared all meals she served from scratch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Tounzen, her parents, and sister, Lucrecia Lachica Peña.
Survivors include her daughters, Marivel Radcliffe & husband Charlie of Fayetteville, AR, Mary Esther Rodriguez & husband Aaron of Lincoln, AR, her two grandchildren who she lovingly called “mijo”, Austin Rodriguez of Lincoln and Dylan Radcliffe of Fayetteville; two sisters, Carmen Lachica Peña of Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Rafaela Lachica Peña of Hermosillo, Sonora and her brother, Alonso Lachica Peña of Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua; all from Mexico, a longtime family friend, Juan Rodriguez, of Lincoln, AR, and a host of friends that she considered family.
