Obituary
Robert Lee “Butch” Pilgrim
Age 83, of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was born June 4, 1942, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to Elven and Blanche (Smith) Pilgrim.
Butch was a man who lived life with grit, heart, and an unshakable devotion to the things that mattered most—God, family, and country. A craftsman at heart, he loved building street rods, hunting, and fishing, but his greatest joy came from the moments spent with his grandchildren.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967 as an auto flight control specialist, including a tour in Vietnam. Following his military service, Butch built a career with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department in Colorado, where he later retired before settling in Arkansas. Known for his generous spirit and humble nature, Butch had a gift for making friends wherever he went and lending a helping hand whenever someone was in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Julie Ann Pilgrim; and his brother, Billy Joe Pilgrim.
Butch leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty in the hearts of his family: his daughter, Traci Sigley and her husband Tim, along with their children Austin Sander, Taylar Sander, and Abigale Sigley; his son, Robert F. Pilgrim, and his children Dalton Pilgrim, Demri Pilgrim, and Kaelie Pilgrim; two sisters, Helen Jean Dingman and Jennie Seaman; and one brother, Jerry Pilgrim and his wife Judy.
