I remember Slown and Jean well. My prayers are with all of the family. Kerry was a little older than I, but I do remember him well.
My sympathy goes out to all the family.
I am sure you will probably not remember my name, but I was Grace Foley's granddaughter and my cousins are Ruth Parker and Marietta Morris, Kathleen Foley was my Great Aunt.
My sympathy is with the whole family and God Bless you all.

After I got out of the Marines and started college, I thought I would look into joining the National Guard to make extra money. Since I was living in Lincoln, I walked into their armory. There to meet me was Slown. He was a nice man and helped me out with all the paperwork and it was Slown that told me I should go to OCS. He did everything he could to help me. I went on to server over 20 years with the National Guard and it was Slown that got me started in the right direction. He was a nice, hard working man.
Butch Goldman - Aquanintance

Kevin and Kerry your dad touched the lives of many young men in our community. His service to his county and community will be missed. After he and I both got out of the National Guard we would meet on the street and he always had a big smile and handshake for me. I will never forget him.
