He was preceded in death by his parents
Survivors include two brothers Stanley Lawson and Benjamin Ballard; four sisters Patricia Stalnacker, Mary Baker, Kathleen Stewart, and Linda Ballard: his friends Ferrari Payne and Mark and Mariah.
