Suzie McKenzie

McKENZIE, Susan SCRIBNER - {from The Prairie Grove Herald}
Susan Scribner was born in Shelbyville, Shelby County, Illinois March 21st,
1833. She married John McKenzie when she was fifteen years old. In 1851
they removed t o this state and settled on a farm about three miles east of
Prairie Grove where they lived until their death. The husband died January
9th, 1894 at the age of 66 years. The wife and mother died May 31st, 1912.
Deceased is survived by nine children, sixty-four grand-children, forty-six
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. [The Springdale
