Tami Rosanne Reed
Obituary
Tami Rosanne Cossey Reed
Age 50, a resident of Claremore, Oklahoma was welcomed into her heavenly home on Friday, October 31, 2025. She was born December 18, 1974 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Kenneth Delane Cossey and Gwyndlyn Jean Jones.
As a child she shared her days with 3 older brothers and a younger sister. Life was filled with tea parties, Strawberry Shortcake dolls, driving the homemade go cart and being pulled in the red wagon behind the Honda motorcycle. Other pastimes included coloring, dog walking, bike riding, swimming at Salem Creek and probably most of all, listening to music. She and her sister and friends would choreograph dances to songs and then perform them for all the neighbors.
Tami went on to graduate from Lincoln High School in 1993 and not long after married Eddie Reed. They started their family and eventually landed permanently in Claremore, OK.
Throughout her life, Tami enjoyed many activities including camping, fishing, arrowhead hunting and sketching and drawing. Before graduating high school she won a national art contest that earned her a full college scholarship, although she didn't pursue it.
As an adult her truest passion and sincerest loyalty lied with the Dallas Cowboys. She was an avid fan, season after losing season. She never wavered.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vance Reed and David Flanagan.
She leaves behind so many loved ones including her husband Eddie, daughters Shanece Wilson of Taft, OK, and Vanessa Mills (Matthew) of Claremore, OK, son Dalton Reed (Megan) of Claremore, OK. Stepchildren, Crystal Thompson (Missy) of Fayetteville, AR and Justan Reed of Dexter, MO. Sister Kara Maberry of Prairie Grove, AR, brother Steven Reed of Rogers, AR and one niece Jenna Maberry of Prairie Grove, AR.
11 grandchildren, Anthony Reed (Laylah) of Gentry, AR, Zaylynn, Finley, Alexa, Serenity, Iris, Ryan, Greyson, Kamryn, Michiah and Roman. 2 great grandsons, Matthew and Beckham.
Tami was a truly loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She was not actively a church goer, but she knew the Lord and had accepted Him as her savior. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.
The family will have a graveside service at the Beaty Cemetery Pavilion on Saturday, November 22 at 3:30pm.
