Obituary

Terry Lynn Anderson, at 68 years young, passed away on Thursday September 4th, 2025 after battling cancer.

Terry was born May 2nd 1957 in Prairie Grove Arkansas to Thurman and Phyllis Reed. Lincoln Arkansas was where Terry was raised. Growing up she enjoyed playing softball and basketball in school. She loved anything outdoorsy including camping, swimming and water-skiing with friends and family. She was a talented aggravation and tick player, and never went easy on anyone including her mom. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975. After graduation she packed up and moved to Tulsa Oklahoma, where she attended dental school. Tulsa is where she met her husband, Keith Anderson, at Eckerd’s Drug Store. They were married in 1977 and spent 48 years together.

Art was a calling and passion of hers. She experimented with many forms of media including photography, painting and pottery to name a few. She enjoyed visiting galleries, art shows and museums. One of her many talents included rehabilitating plants. Known for her green thumb and the ponytail plant she had kept alive for over 40 years.

Terry is preceded in death by her father, Thurman Reed, her son, Timothy (Jason) Spurrier, and granddaughter, Kelsey Spurrier. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Reed, sister, Mary Gail Reed, husband, Keith Anderson, daughter, Camille Nelson, son in law, Bobby (Joe) Nelson, son Brian Anderson, daughter in law, Stephanie Spurrier, and grandchildren, Rowdy Altum, Caleb Anderson, Riley Anderson, Kyla Nelson, and Brayden Nelson, as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
