Theda Audrey Rhodes
87, a resident of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord, March 10, 2008 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She was born February 15, 1921 at Cecil, Arkansas, the daughter of Luther and Edna Jones Powers.
Theda was a member of the Lincoln United Pentecostal Church. She was a long time Sunday school teacher and was very active in the church her whole life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Delton Rhodes, one daughter Glenda Greenwood, and one son, Stanley Greenwood.
Survivors include one son, Doug Rhodes and wife Kathy of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two daughters, Olivia Pattyson of Rogers, Arkansas and Delphia King and husband John of Gravette, Arkansas; one brother Boots Powers of Bakersfield, California; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. with the family being present from
6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 - 2:00 P.M. at the Lincoln United Pentecostal Church Lincoln, Arkansas, with brother David McBride officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be John Taylor, Darrin Taylor, Bobby Cook, David Rhodes, Scott Greenwood, and Tag Ellis.
