Vesta Mae Spencer
94, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away April 18, 2008 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born December 22, 1913 at Cove City, Arkansas the daughter of Dan and Minnie Pierce Ramey.
Vesta was a member of the New Sulphur Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ferbin Spencer one son Donnie, one daughter Anna Kate Robertson, one grandson Richie Spencer, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-laws Ronald E. and Sandra Spencer of Springdale, Arkansas, Dennis D. and Keneita Spencer of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Kenneth D. and Jane Spencer of Kansas, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; three sisters Shirley Ramey of Susanville, California, Betty Viles of Gladewater, Texas, and Margie Billings of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at the Prairie Grove Battlefield Park from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday before the service.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 21, 2008 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Rev. Rex Hester officiating. Burial will be in the Summers Cemetery in Summers, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Rick Robertson, Rock Spencer, Mark Robertson, Scott Spencer, Ryan Spencer, Brent Spencer, Curt Spencer, and Greg Spencer.
