Vivian Adeline Welch

88, a resident of Cane Hill, Arkansas passed away on September 29, 2008 at her home near Cane Hill. She was born July 5, 1920 in Lesueur, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Margaret McCormick Busse.

She was Catholic. She was known to many as "granny". She loved to fish, travel, cook and shop. She also loved to play with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Welch; one sister, Georgine Busse; one brother, Fred Busse.

Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Jim and Janet Welch of Cane Hill, Arkansas; five sisters, Ruth Larson of Skokie, Illinois, Verna Brown of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Valerie Romig of Lakewood, California, Elaine Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Joan King of West Fork, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Amy Welch and Tonya Welch.

The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.

Family ask in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Washington Regional Hospice 34 W Colt Square Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
