Memorial services for James William Morris, 71, of Longview, Texas, will be at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Greggton United Methodist Church. Burial will be May 10, 2014 in Highland Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

James was born August 25, 1942, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to William Howard and Dixie Evelyn Tucker Morris. He passed away April 26, 2014, in Savannah, Georgia, while visiting his daughter and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father.

James attended Fayetteville High School, the University of Arkansas and Fayetteville Business College. He worked for many years in industrial sales.

James Morris is survived by his wife, Becky, of Longview, Texas; his mother, Dixie Morris, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and his three daughters: Christy, Charae, and Kathryn.
