William "Bill" Eugene McGarity

83 a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away May 11, 2010 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born September 24, 1926 in Mishawaka, Indiana, the son of William Lester and Clara Ann Egendoerfer McGarity.

Bill served in the United States Navy during World War II, he retired as a truck driver after 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Lucille Starling.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Lee McGarity of the home; three daughters, Ann Harrah of Fresno, California, Jane McGarity of King George, Virginia and Jovonna Jones of Hemet, California; two sons, Steven McGarity of Texas and Jeff McGarity of Glendale, Arizona; two sisters, Kate Gunn and Margaret Waters both of Valdosta, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Dutch Mills Cemetery in Dutch Mills, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Steven McGarity, Jeff McGarity, Roger Eversoll, Dale Eversoll, and Phillip Eversoll.
