Helen Lillis Reed

76 a resident of Rhea, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on April 29, 2011 at her home in Rhea, Arkansas. She was born August 7, 1934 in Fresno, California, the daughter of James Hubert and Helen Irene Gipson Bunnell.

She was a member of the Lincoln Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jane Wade and one grandson, Joshua Hale.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Alfred "Shug" Reed; four children, Alfred Reed Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Sharon Roberts and her husband, Tommy of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Alan Reed and his wife, Lori of Checotah, Oklahoma, and Tammy Hale and her husband, Richard of Cane Hill, Arkansas; one brother, Ronnie Bunnell and his wife, Carolyn of Lincoln, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Chad Roberts and his wife, Christine, Matthew Hale and his wife, Melissa, Julie Yancey and her husband, Mitchell, Taylor Reed and his wife, Bethany, Cindy Quick and her husband, Jacob, Sawyer Hale and his wife, Madison, Cathy Story and her husband, Willie, Nona Townsend and her husband, Dan, and Holly Rodriguez and her husband, Abe; fourteen great grandchildren, Reed, Caleb, Lynlie, Lainey, Jason, Landen, James, Mia, Jaxon, Hayden, Sarah, Quinzy, Lucas and Damon.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Shug and Helen's house.

Funeral Service will be held Monday May 2, 2011 2:00 P.M. Church of Christ Lincoln, Arkansas Charlie Brown.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Roberts, Matthew Hale, Taylor Reed, Sawyer Hale, Mitchell Yancey, Shannon West.
