79, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away April 9, 2010 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born March 15, 1931 in Wedington, Arkansas, the son of Marion Alwilda and Della C. Conduff Beeks.

Ira was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Marvin Alwilty Beeks and one sister, Zelma Beeks Cox.

Survivors include two children, Iris Dean and Ira Dean; two brothers, Garland Beeks of Hugoton, Kansas and Ollie Fay Beeks of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Burial was in Rose Cemetery in Viney Grove, Arkansas.
