William "Pony" Reid

A record of the marriage of William Reid to Dorothy Donaldson on February 10, 1830 in Mason, Kentucky. Not sure if this is the same family. A William Donaldson was listed as Bondsman.

William Pony Reid emigrated to Andrew County, Missouri where he remained some time and then removed to Texas.

His son-in-law had gone to Texas in 1858. His name was Peter Luginbyhl. He was a native of Winesburg, Homes County, Ohio, and some time previously had left home and settled in Nebraska.

1850 Census listed all the children, not his wife as she probably died before the census. He was at home in Rochester, Andrew County, Missour at the time of the 1850 United States Federal Census.
