Ruby Mae Cochran
101, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Greenwood. She was born January 4, 1924 in Erick, Oklahoma to Samuel Thomas and Nina Pearl (George) Davis. She was a retired LPN, having worked for over 40 years for Dr. Manning in Prairie Grove. She was a member of Greenwood First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Angie Washington; a step-daughter, Sara Whisler and husband, Kelly; son-in-law, Drew Ellenwood and wife, Traci; six grandchildren, Lucy Wright, Samuel Ellenwood, Griffin Ellenwood, Meredith Reed, Todd Whisler and Joyce Wheeler and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harrell Cochran and daughter, Dona Sue Ellenwood.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 17 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Summers Cemetery in Summers, Arkansas under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2 - 3 p.m.
