Death Claims A.W. Campbell

A.W. Campbell, aged 85, passed away at his home in Nowata on Saturday. A veteran of the Civil War, he served in the Union Army and was a respected member of the Grand Army of the Republic.

Born in Ohio in 1845, Mr. Campbell moved to Kansas in 1870 and later settled in Oklahoma in 1904. He was a devoted member of the Methodist Church and was known for his contributions to the community.

He is survived by his wife, several children, and grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church, followed by burial in the Nowata cemetery.

His life reflected dedication to family, faith, and country, leaving a legacy cherished by those who knew him.
