Brenda Joyce Gifford Dobbs
Age 77, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born November 17, 1947 in Tulare, California, the daughter of William C. and Maxine (Tennison) Gifford.
Brenda dedicated many years of her professional life to Standard Register in Fayetteville. Later, alongside her husband, she owned and managed Brenda's Fast Stop in both Springdale and Fayetteville, where they served their community with dedication and care.
She found great joy in traveling across the country with her family, creating lasting memories along the way. Brenda especially cherished family gatherings and took pride in preparing large meals that brought everyone together around the table.
One of her favorite pastimes was going to garage sales and visiting the Goodwill Store with her sister Betty. Their shared adventures often ended with a car full of treasures and laughter.
Brenda’s warmth and love for simple pleasures left a lasting impression on those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who were touched by her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry L. Dobbs, one son Lee Dobbs, her parents William C. Gifford and Maxine Embry, step mother Glady Gifford; two sisters Sandra Kaye Gifford and Betty Sisemore.
Survivors include her son Travis Wendall Dobbs and his wife Heather; five grandchildren Travis John, Destiny, Dixon, Acelyn, and Kovyn; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 - 10:00 A.M., at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
