She was a member of the Washington County Baptist Church of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Hartwick Sr; one son, Johnny Floyd Hartwick; two brothers, Harold Foster and Tom Foster; three sisters, Kathrine Taylor, Ethel Fay Dark, and Lucille Newhaus. Survivors include one son, Paul B. Hartwick Jr. and wife Charoline of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two half brothers, Henry Foster and Roy Allen Davidson; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
