SMITH, Andrew Jackson died Jan. 27, 1911, born Aug. 6, 1838 in Washington Co.

Ark. the son of Calvin Smith and Penelope Hinson of Tenn. Subject was a Dem::r

crat, and CUmberland Presbyterian. Served with Stinnan' s Regt. of Sharp

Shooters, was wounded May 16, 1863 at the battle of Bakers Creek or Charrpion

Hill. Married Nancy Jane Edmiston, dau. of Ewing Edmiston and wife S. A.

Maberry, Aug. 11, 1867. Children:
