Margaret Lucinda Kirkland

Margaret Lucinda Dodaon, age 99, of Yakima, Washington, died November 20, 1989

She was born June 5, 1890, in Bryson City, North Carolina, the daughter of John "Bud" and Mary Ann "Polly" (Watkins) Kirkland.

She and Joseph Hubert Dotson were married September 9, 1909 at Fayetteville, Arkansas.

They moved to Yakima, Washington from Prairie Grove, Arkansas, between 1940 and 1950 when the Census was taken

J.H. and Margaret were the parents of eight known children: 1) Earl Donald Dotson (1911-1933), 2) Ida Marie Dotson (1913-1914), 3) Cleo Louise Dotson Perdue (1915-1985), 4) John Edward Dotson (1917-1994), 5) Anna Elizabeth Dotson Oliver (1920-1991), 6) Fred Houston Dotson (1922-1944), 7) Grace Jean Dotson Clayton (1928-2014) and 8) Benjamin Hubert Dotson (1932-2008).
