(19) ABNER JACKSON 4 EDMISTON, (David Crawtord,3 etc.), was born 4 Mar. 1848; died 18 July 1913, and was buried at South Bowie, Texas. He married about 1870 to Frances (Fannie) Pyeatt, (dau. or William Stevenson and May {Johnson) Pyeatt).

They lived on a farm near Prairie Grove until her death, then he moved to Texas. From 1904 he was joint owner, with his son, or the “Blade”, a newspaper in Bowie, Texas.
