Married to Jackson Harvey Ralston at Keokuk IA, June 1, 1887, adopted son Jackson Frederick Ralston [a younger cousin of Jackson Harvey]. Interested in church missionary, peace, and other philanthropic societies. Member, Board of Associated Charities, was officer of Gentlewoman's League D.C., resident since 1887, Presbyterian. On her husband Jackson H. Ralston's 80th birthday, 2/6/1937, Sara Burns Rankin "Birdie" Ralston, his wife of nearly 50 years passed away from pneumonia in Palo Alto, CA.
