A Crawford County woman who had been reported missing Sunday, was found dead in a car that had run off the road and crashed into a Caulksville creek.
Cynthia Winn, 40, is believed to have driven her vehicle off a highway outside Caulksville in Logan County at around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to Trooper Hugh Davis of the Arkansas State Police.
Authorities located Winn's vehicle in Caulksville Creek on Monday afternoon. Winn's body was inside the vehicle. The creek is around 30 feet below Arkansas 22. The vehicle had gone off the right side of the highway just shy of Twin Bridges, Davis said.
Deputy Logan Spicer of the Logan County Sheriff's Office said that after Winn's vehicle left the highway, it crashed into an embankment and came to rest on its roof.
